A new website.Over the weekend we have been busily adding, changing and redesigning and have now more or less finished what we set out to do; redesign our site to work according to CSS (cascading style sheets) rather than according to tables. Or, more properly, not according to tables, but such that every time we wanted a new page we had to do a lot of designing and saving of things. And this made things such as the gallery and the journal rather difficult to maintain.<\/p>\n
Which meant that they weren’t maintained, that is, we didn’t add any new pictures or write about what we were doing for several months. Or maybe we just didn’t do anything interesting. I forget which.<\/p>\n
So now the gallery and journal are basically collapsed into one page – this one – and will be easier to add things to. Yep. That’s the plan anyway. We still have links to other interesting pages to look at; and then we have the page called ‘interesting stuff’. There’s not much to look at there right now but there will be one day. As with the old site there is still only a grand total of four (4) pages to keep in good working order and update reasonably often so that they remain interesting – and it should now be far easier for us to do just that. Or that’s the plan anyway.<\/p>\n
